How have literacy support models been modified and adapted to suit the current learning environment? During the pandemic, many changes in our practice as literacy support teachers have occurred. Let’s discuss (a) what has worked for online support; (b) what has worked for in-person/at-school small-group, pull-out; (c) what challenges have we faced and (d) ways to continue to support vulnerable literacy learners at all levels.
One of the most rewarding things about the annual LATA BC Conference is the ability to connect with a wide variety of teachers from across the province and beyond. As we move to an online format this year, we wanted to provide an opportunity for attendees to connect with each other and to share ideas. We invite you to join one of our Roundtable Discussions.
This is a time for you to ask questions of colleagues from other Districts or even outside BC. You will have an opportunity to share what is working for you and to gather ideas from others. Members of the LATA Executive will facilitate each discussion.
We will have two rooms open, each of which will be focused on different topics. You may attend either discussion and you can switch rooms anytime during the chat.
Drop-in session, no prior registration required.
