Supporting Literacy with Read&Write for Google Chrome

Struggling readers and writers can be supported through the Google Suite of apps. The extension Read&Write by Texthelp is free for educators, but a paid student app (individual license, school license or district license). This session will review how to use its features in Docs, Slides, Websites and PDFs. Participants need to bring their own laptop or Chromebook, an iPad will not work for hands-on practice. If Read&Write is not already installed, participants should 1) get a free account (http://bit.ly/RWfreeEducator) and 2) go to the Chrome Web store and add/install the “Read&Write” extension before the session.
