  • Dr. Marnie Ginsberg

    Dr. Marnie Ginsberg is the CEO and Founder of Reading Simplified. As a former classroom teacher, she discovered she didn't really know how to teach reading. This led to her passion for discovering efficient, effective methods for beginning or struggling readers. During her doctoral studies at The University of North Carolina, she led the development of a K-2 reading intervention for struggling readers--the Targeted Reading Intervention (TRI)--that yielded good outcomes for all 4 measures studied. This project has been published in multiple peer-review journals and is one of a few research-based programs suggested for replication by the U.S. Institute for Education Sciences. After learning from working with hundreds of teachers in the TRI, she developed Reading Simplified--a streamlined approach to teaching reading in any setting to spur accelerated growth.
